The conference aim is to present research and development related to information technologies within the frame of companies producing software products and hardware facilities applied in the field of transportation and logistic systems. Thus, conference subject areas include new scientific and methodological approaches, which are potentially employable in transportation and logistics. The conference also represents a platform for professional discussions determined for academicians, transportation engineers and software & hardware designers.

There will be organised mini-exhibition SOFTRANS 2011 within the frame of the conference. The exhibitors are supposed to present their software products, which demonstrate the progressive utilisation of information technologies applied to the different kinds of transport, telecommunications and logistic systems.
